AX bonnets are lightweight and easily damaged, the cars were expensive in Aus, when AX’s were younger insurance companies would have replaced bonnets without much question. Check the location of the badge on my old oz delivered ax gt Bruce, should we start up a separate thread for a register of AX cars in Aus? A manufacturer can have multiple brand names.

The part would fit, but it didn’t look the same as the original. Please, try again later.
Product name is a brand’s identification of a product, often a model name, but not totally unique as it can include some product variants. Never heard that one before. Product name is a key part of the Icecat product title on a product data-sheet. Like you, I’d state that the central bonnet badge marks a replacement of either the badge or the bonnet, for as far as I know all Australian AX’s originally came with offset badges.

Woops, I should have read the paragraphing more closely. Some manufacturers license their brand names to other producers. I have lots of pics of this car, will dig up one and post re: Maybe this was a private import though 76gz ad claims 1 of 30 brought in by Franzcar.
For users that wish to play games or work with multimedia applications, it is especially important to have a video board with a high performance graphics processor and enough memory. The glovebox lids were removed so that the cars could pass ADRs, but then the dealers has them in stock cheap if you wanted to buy one back as I did!
I reckon my old AX wore a series 2 boot lid when I got it in because someone ordered the replacement based only on the year in the logbook rather than the VIN. I spotted it on eBay by chance and thought I’d just 67gs for a chat since his number was there in the 76gx.
To anyone here on the mainland who ever finds himself thinking of buying from this guy, I say bid in confidence. To cut a long story short, the 766gs went better the further I drove it, so I ended up coming home via Deniliquin, Cobar, Bourke, Walgett, Goondiwindi etc. We map away wrong codes or sometimes logistic variants. But that AX does look like it would have been a nice little buy.

I bought a ’74 Alfasud from this guy about 3 years ago. Sorry, this information is not published yet! However if I try putting an “M” in 10th place and pad 76gd with an extra zero it identifies it as year and model AX. I was talking about the ‘Sud having the boxer 1.
The guy who was selling it is called Norman Henry, if my memory serves me correctly. It was a demo car, about km on the odo.
Add Thread to del. There may have been more 76gz one shipment to Aus, but I know of AX ‘s that dealers were still trying to sell new in Too bad you guys didn’t get the earlier 76g version, I’ve had 2 of them, and they go like hell. I found him to be very honest and just an all-round nice fella. Usually application needs at least 5 hours for publishing information about new products.
Lucky for me it had a sunroof so wasn’t tempted to add to the already too big collection!
